A new American musical
made with hot glue & heart
An original ensemble musical set in the cutthroat world of DIY craft enthusiasts about community, passion, and making something new.
At the Boulder, Colorado craft show, you can get your fill of hand-made original arts and crafts, from Hawk’s metal medieval figurines to Elmer and Susan’s Lazy Susans. But this year, for the first time, the show is being adjudicated by Instagram Influencer Kiersten Cumin, with the winner receiving a deal to have their craft mass-distributed (with love) by All-Mart.
A fiery competition ensues, bringing up grudges old and new, turning neighbor against neighbor. In the middle of this wacky hodgepodge cornucopia is Brenda, who is looking for meaning following the death of her son who served overseas.
Craft Show is filled with characters befitting a Christopher Guest mockumentary - full of homespun heart set in a modern America where the D.I.Y. philosophy triumphs and “makers” make their dreams come true.
